TORONTO: On March 4, 2016 international delegates from the Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) met with the members of the Parliament of Ontario at Queen’s Park to discuss the forthcoming NIS2 Humanness Festival in the summer.
The NIS2 Humanness Festival will showcase that beyond all apparent differences we have as human beings, we share a common thread of humanity, a universal love that joins us as one family. The festival is a testament to unity in diversity and seeks to celebrate human values of love, kindness, and compassion. All Ministers offered their whole-hearted support for the success of the event. Honorable Michael Chan, MPP, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade expressed tremendous enthusiasm for the event. The festival comes at an auspicious time for Canada as the country also celebrates its 150th birthday. Canada is ethnically diverse, encourages a cultural mosaic and was the first country in 1971 to declare multiculturalism as an official state policy.
