MONTREAL: With great enthusiasm and zeal, the Montreal branch of Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) participated in the festivities of Holi, in collaboration with the Indo Canadian Organization of Montreal. This free event took place in Vaudreuil-Dorion on March 26th, 2016, and was attended by over 400 people of diverse ethnic backgrounds. The main objective of the event was to give all visitors a glimpse into the vast culture of India through various kiosks depicting religion, dance, music, fashion, economics, among others.
The Montreal Branch provided over 20 volunteers and a food stall setup to raise funds for NIS2, where delicious options were available for a nominal cost. Nishant Sharma, President of ICOM, and Jasmine Sharma, Chair person for the event, generously praised all the volunteers and their efforts in making the event go smoothly, and encouraged all guests to come to the SNM kiosk to buy some food and learn about the NIS2 event.
The guest showed lots of excitement for the upcoming NIS 2 and were interested to come and learn more about the Mission and the activities at the local branch.
